In the year 1961, our Society with a mission to eradicate ignorance and illiteracy of the people of the region and to educate them, started an Arts and Science College at Nipani. Then, this was the only college catering to educational needs of the major parts of Belagavi and Vijayapur districts of Karnataka. In 1977, with growing importance of commerce, Society has introduced Commerce. In 2018, PG English and Mathematics were added to the bunch of programmes.

What we Do

Our Goal

1. The goal of our institution is “To facilitate and train the students to become enterprising entrepreneur professional and sincere employee by nurturing the intellectual and creative minds”.

We offer

2. UG Arts and Science programmes were started in 1961. Commerce was started in 1977. PG programme in Commerce was introduced in 2010 and, PG Mathematics in 2011 and English started in 2018.

3. There are 12 doctorates, 07 MPhil degree holders and 03 are pursuing PhD.

Cells/Committees

4.Our institution is very keen about student grievances. There are more than 20 various committees and cells. NSS has one unit of 100 students and NCC has one unit of 106 cadets.

5. The campus is spread over 11 acres of land. The main building has 29 state of art class rooms, 11 well equipped labs, staff common room, ladies staff room, ladies room, separate sanitary blocks, independent library building, and lush gardens.

Support

6. The institution inculcates competence and creativity through innovations in teaching, learning, research and extension activities, sports and cultural activities, NCC and NSS activities.
